It was the day of the British Animation Film Festival, and we got up at 5 a.m. to fly to London, eat a bunch of amazing stuff, have some pints and enjoy this marvel of a city, to attend the festival in the evening.

The British Museum probably is the grandest location for a film festival, and the Film Festival Guild did an amazing job making the evening a total success - thanks to Jess!

We watched a lot of wonderfully crafted animated films by so many talented and lovely artists, awards were handed out, and suddenly I was called up on the stage to be awarded with special commendations for exceptional writing for FLAUSEN and additionally to the LOTTIE LIST - an absolute surprise, but a welcome one!

Being part of the BAFF's Class of 2025 honours me a lot, and I can't wait to see what comes next from our group.
